Moon Presence was one of the last two songs written for the album. Cody had been kicking around a few riffs and threw them together over a few weeks to churn out this track and in typical Zephryria fashion we decided to write about ancient gods that exist just outside of our realm of comprehension but this time through the lens of the excellent horror games P.T. (RIP) and Bloodborne. It's our first song to feature a merch design so check out the shirt if you dig the song!

The voices lead me to answers

The walls that had once glowed with grand decadence
now writhe with malevolence.
Your eyes have yet to open!

Madness permeates,
corrupts and erodes faith,
demanding full devotion.

I walked as the floor began to fade,
step into a higher plane;
enter into their domain.

Watch out, the gap in the door leads to a separate reality.
The only me is me.

Can you hear the screaming from the souls below?
Or will the voices in your head not leave you alone?
The scratching won't stop, its driving me insane.
And so I walk on through the door into their embrace.

They're here, they've always been here,
and they're among us!

Beyond the depths of our perception
hiding in the next dimensions.
Lie eldritch truths so horrid that they shatter comprehension.

Their watchful eyes
constrict our every step.
Their blank disguise
cast aside by blinding insight.
